Birthday Festives

So apparently July 24 is my day. Let's see the following places I went to celebrate my day. Although for some, it's just the day 1 of celebration since I have some promises for friends and family for other festivities.
oh, well, I should post my pre-birthday bash then. So here it goes.
Pre-Birthday.
Location: Cali Deli, fx.
I made appointment with Ritha and June. But Ritha's the only girl who showed up since June turned down the invitation due to some water problem. Yeap, water. I bet Jakarta's biggest problem is not traffic then, but clean, fresh, flowing-water. She has a problem with those variables then she has to cancel the appointment in the last minutes. But hey, Ritha and I had some fun since we practically became Americans. Or so what our menu said.
Ritha ordered a grilled barbecue sandwich while I went with lemon grass chicken sandwich. She chose hot cappucino but I went with more fresh tropical juice.
Afterwards, we went just to window-shop at Pasaraya. And I practically enjoyed my an-hour visit there since that place offers an exclusive-but-affordable sportswear (sneakers in particular). Since I am into a gym-freak nowadays, I went from shirt, to shorts, to sleeveless, to socks, and to sneakers. Here are some of my favorites findings and the ones that I bought.
The lovebirds even felt convenient on my shoes. Cute, huh? =P
Let's go to my morning festives.
the Morning.
Bakmi Kacamata. Dharmawangsa.
There is this wise word said that for those who are having a birthday, noodle can be served as the first course to eat. It represents the age, for longevity, since, well, if you look at the noodle, it goes on and on and on, right?
So i ordered Bakmi Hongkong Casiau Siobak. A perfect combination of noodle and pork. My favorites. LOL.
the Afternoon.
Awfully Chocolate. Senopati.
It's a hip location at the south, and the cafe is actually good but MAYBE lack of promotion and varieties of offers. If you are a chocoholic, I bet you will think this place as your favorite, but if you treat chocolate only as a side dish, don't go there, or go there and buy a take out, because they don't offer other food for eating and dining.
This super stacked cake with six-layer of chocolate is surely stuffed me graciously. The taste of six layers feels like I am eating a typical-cake, but for my case, they all fill with chocolate.
the Evening.
Outback. Pondok Indah Mall.
Just to differentiate my restaurant with a typical food place I used to go, we chose this restaurant for its fine dining and service. A good place, a very polite food assistants, and a complete menu. A bit medium price but it covers the taste and the portion of the food we ordered.
The appetizer.
Kookaburra Wings.
Chicken wings tossed in a savory blend of secret spices and paired with cool creamy Blue Cheese dressing and celery with a medium hot.
Main menu.
No Rules Pasta.
Fettuccine with homemade Parmesan cream sauce tossed with choice of succulent grilled shrimp, flame-grilled chicken breast with a fresh vegetables.
Alice Springs Chicken.
Chicken breast flame-grilled and topped with sauteed mushrooms, crisp strips of beef bacon, melted Monterey Jack and Cheddar and finished with honey mustard sauce and served with Aussie Fries.
That honey mustard is a kill for. We ask for additional serve for it and the food assistant even ask them in advance. Superb.
Dessert.
I skipped the dessert since I know I still have another Awfully Chocolate at home.
Note: Look at these two lovebirds. They do enjoy their first night-out-dating together. XOXO:
the Birthday Cake.
Awfully Chocolate. Senopati.
So another surprise awaited me at home. a White Chocolate Butter Scotch with 3-candle on top of it and a smile that melt my heart.
and to close my birthday, a can of Heineken beer.
I love my life.
